Tips to Implementation: The Disability Navigator position should have the resources to focus on capacity building related to populations with disabilities, such as training One-Stop staff, educating employers about tax credits and relationship building, and building networks of community resources for populations with disabilities.

Keys to Success: The creation of the Dallas Advisory Group on Disabilities has been a key success that has enabled the sharing of resources and information among community agencies and has broken down the traditional segmentation of resources by disability type. Additionally, the training the Disability Navigator has provided to One-Stop staff has increased the comfort level of staff and persons with disabilities using the One-Stop Center.
