I need the national number of children served by TANF for each fiscal year from 1999 to last available as a comparison for our state numbers or a location I can obtain that information. A child for our purposes is under 18, but if the data is available at other ranges and not available at 0-17 I would still be very grateful.
Are there any States that withhold TANF cash assistance pending an applicant's participation in Job Search or Job Readiness? If yes, which States?
