Operationalizing Access and Equity in Your WIOA State Plan: Partnerships and Practices

The LEAD Center hosted a webinar on December 12, 2023, to provide and share critical information for states and territories preparing their 2024-2028 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) state plan, which is due on March 4, 2024. Attendees heard about “strategic” partnerships, promising practices that promote Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility, actions to ensure that underrepresented populations are included in all aspects of the WIOA Unified or Combined State Plan, and ways to incorporate the Good Jobs Initiative and other “Investing in America” programs.
