Green Jobs: Where Are They?

This report was published as part of the Jobs for the Future Initiative, and specifically, its GreenWays Initiative. The GreenWays Initiative is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor through Pathways Out of Poverty and the Green Jobs Innovation Fund and provides workforce services to employers and workers seeking to advance their careers in the green economy. This issue brief addresses how the green economy emerged and has evolved, and where jobs are located in the emerging green economy. Authors explore how workforce training providers can target programs to where green job opportunities and job growth exist.
