The concern is for teens under 18 who cannot attend regular high school or GED programs for good cause, such as the prolonged illness of the teen or of the teen's child. I have heard information that some States are providing cars to TANF recipients. Are these States actually providing the money to the client and allowing the client to purchase his/her own car? Are there any less expensive alternative methods, or suggestions to providing this service?

Which state or sub-state areas have TANF and child support enforcement joined forces to prioritize TANF cases nearing their TANF time limits for IV-D services, i.e. order establishment and enforcement? If so, how did they approach it, and how is it going?

A Region IX TANF program is asking if States are using video administrative hearings. (It appears that they are considering centralizing the hearing process via state video conference centers.)
