Building Stronger Father Engagement Through Community-Based Programming

Community-based programs can play an important role in helping fathers build parenting skills, strengthen family relationships, and become more involved in their children’s lives. National Fatherhood Initiative will host a webinar on November 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. ET to share strategies for engaging fathers through community-based programming, with examples from organizations working directly with families.

For Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) practitioners, the webinar offers an opportunity to explore approaches for building stronger connections with fathers and expanding access to parenting support. TANF programs can apply these strategies to strengthen father engagement, develop community partnerships, and connect families with resources that support positive parenting and healthy relationships.
