Domestic Violence Referral Guide for Fatherhood Programs
This Office for Planning, Research and Evaluation guide outlines referral considerations for fatherhood programs working with individuals affected by domestic violence. It describes different types of services, including domestic violence advocacy, specialized intervention programs, and other community resources, and explains the importance of connecting participants with appropriate providers. Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) staff, particularly those working with fathers and families or partnering with Responsible Fatherhood programs, can use the guide to better understand referral options, connect participants with relevant services, and strengthen coordination with community organizations addressing domestic violence.
