Unlocking the Potential of WIOA Title I to Help America’s Youth and Young Adults with Disabilities Access Jobs

The National Youth Employment Coalition (NYEC) will host a webinar on October 22, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. ET to focus on how Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I can help youth and young adults with disabilities access employment. The topic is relevant to Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) practitioners serving young people who may benefit from coordinated employment, training, and disability-related supports. The session may also help TANF practitioners identify opportunities to work with workforce development partners and connect eligible young people to WIOA services. TANF staff can use the webinar to consider how their own referral and service-planning practices account for accessibility and support participants’ transitions into employment.
